Taken at Garie Beach, July 2008.
Garie beach is a delightful beach a few hours out of Sydney, on the way to Wollongong. It's in the National Park so there's a deliciously twisting road to drive down with plenty of hairpins before you get to the unspoilt Garie Beach.
We hiked over to Little Garie beach after I took this shot and spent an hour getting to the top of the cliffs. Well worth it as I got shots of the whales going past, and an eagle.
